antas

Antas is a charming & typically Spanish town, very pretty & friendly and offering many amenities, including good schools, shops, bars, restaurants, doctors and great access to the motorways, beaches and golf courses.

Bedar

Bedar is a charming whitewashed village on the edge of the Sierra de los Filabres mountains. The village is just 15km inland from the Mediterranean coastline, and the elevated position offers stunning views across the entire area, from the Sierra Cabrera mountains to the Mediterranean Sea.

Carboneras is a coastal town situated within the protected Cabo de Gata-Nijar Nature Reserve. The town boasts 17km of coastline, including popular beaches such as Los Algarrobicos, Playa de los Muertos and Los Barquicos. The area is popular with scuba divers & hikers.

Cortijo Grande

The Cortijo Grande valley & the unique Moorish village of Cabrera are situated within the Sierra Cabrera mountain range, 4km from the market town of Turre. The Sierra Cabrera mountain peaks rise to almost 1000m above sea level, and provide a dramatic & breathtaking backdrop, with the mountains seemingly changing colour during the course of the day.

The town of Cuevas del Almanzora is home to many amenities including supermarkets, shops, medical centre, pharmacies, banks, bars, restaurants, municipal indoor pool with gym, Lunar Cable Park (water sports centre) and much more. There is also a twice-weekly street market held in the centre of the town.

el calon

El Calon is a small coastal village located centrally between Villaricos and San Juan de los Terreros, approximately 5 minutes´ drive away from each. El Calon is described as a bay consisting mostly of a black sand beach with rock pools which is very secluded and private. The beach has an average width of 25m, over 500m and El Calon is a haven of peace & tranquillity. The area is very unique, and visitors come specifically for the canoeing, diving and the underwater caves located just off shore.

Garrucha is a long coastal town situated in the province of Almeria, with a well-sized and elegant port. Garrucha is home to many bars & restaurants which are famous for their gambas rojas de Garrucha (some of the most famous red prawns in the world).

huercal-overa

Huercal Overa has some of the best restaurants in the area, taking advantage of the local agriculture, with freshly grown vegetables brought to the restaurants daily. Huercal Overa hosts a market every Monday, and the town boasts a long stretch of road with shops on either side, ranging from opticians to big-name branded shops.

los gallardos

Los Gallardos is a typical friendly Spanish village located at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera mountains. The village is situated just 10km inland from the Mediterranean coastline of Mojacar, Garrucha & Vera Playa.

Los Lobos is a typically Spanish village located at the foot of the Sierra Almagrera mountains. The village sits halfway between the main town of Cuevas del Almanzora and the coastal resort of San Juan de los Terreros.

Mojácar

Mojacar Pueblo is famous for its whitewashed village houses, and an elevated position offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. In Mojacar Pueblo you will find an array of bars & restaurants, together with souvenir shops, small supermarkets, bank, medical centre and a bustling weekly market held on Wednesdays, with stalls selling sverything from fresh fruit and veg to clothes. Mojacar Pueblo is also home to an indoor swimming pool.

mojácar playa

Mojácar Playa is the coastal section of Mojácar located just 2km away from the town itself. Mojácar Playa's coastline stretches out for almost 10km boasting many beautiful beaches. The promenade is a work in price with a current length of 2.5km however the plans for this to be extended another 2.5km are already underway. Along the length of the coastline you'll find an array of bars and resturants together with shops, supermarkets, hotels and activities like bowling, axe throwing, horse riding, etc.

palomares

Palomares is a typical Spanish village with a relaxed atmosphere and all low rise buildings. The location is ideal, being just 1km from the beach. All amenities are a stroll away, including shops, banks, restaurants, bars and a school. There are 4 golf courses within 15 minutes as well as the beaches of Vera, Mojacar and Garrucha.

san juan de los terreros

San Juan de los Terreros is a coastal resort which is a hamlet of the town of Pulpi. The hamlet is a very popular summer destination for Spanish nationals. There are many bars & restaurants with a fantastic paseo (promenade) running along the coastline. There is also an abundance of shops & supermarkets with a weekly street market held every Saturday. The historic castle can be found on a hillside hugging the coast with absolutely stunning views.

Turre is a typical Spanish village located at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera mountains and is home to a variety of amenities, including bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, medical centre, banks, pharmacy and a very popular weekly street market held in the square every Friday morning.

valle del este

Valle del Este Golf Resort is situated on the outskirts of Vera, just 10 minutes from the beaches of Vera Playa, and boasting excellent sea views from around the course. Facilities at the resort include a luxury hotel, an 18 hole golf course, golf club, pro shop, driving range, practice putting area plus a commercial centre with bars, restaurants & shops. The hotel also boasts a fitness club and spa treatment centre.

Vera is a coastal town, one of the largest towns in the immediate area which boasts a long stretch of beach as well as a golf course. Vera town has a long history spanning over 500 years, and is home to several historic attractions, including the church in the main square and the bullring.

vera playa

Vera Playa is the coastal section of Vera, which is only a short 5 minute drive from the main town. The Vera Playa coastline stretches roughly 5km, with many bars, restaurants and beach bars, as well as a commercial centre and the AquaVera waterpark.

villaricos

Villaricos is a traditional Spanish fishing village with a relaxed atmosphere and all low rise buildings. All amenities are a stroll away, including the beach, shops, banks, restaurants, bars and a school. There is also a very popular street market which is held every Sunday morning and draws in visitors from all the surrounding towns & villages.
